Red Advertising remains bullish about its performance

10/10/2008

Red Advertising today confirmed that it remains bullish about its performance in the online classified job advertising sector going into the final quarter of 2008 and believes that its outlook remains very strong moving into 2009 and beyond.

The company reported that despite the economic down turn they are seeing both increased activity from job seekers and increased sales from advertisers using their vertical search and promotional online job advertising services.

Their abc traffic audit issued in September for the month of July 2008 showed job seeker activity increasing into the second half of the year with 887,324 candidates visiting the group’s job sites of which 517,040 were unique visitors. Meanwhile sales turnover was almost 80% up on the same period last year.

The company’s advances in technology and its ongoing integration of more of its websites into its promotional platform are expected to accelerate growth further. By the end of 2008 the company expects that all of its sites will be fully integrated into its platform and this means that its focus can shift towards further increasing ad sales during 2009.

Red Advertising are fully committed to increasing their share of the online classified job advertising space and although the economic outlook for advertising outside of online currently looks bleak they see this period as a good time for further establishing their brand and online operations within the market and also a good time for introducing new clients to the benefits of online advertising solutions.

A further trading update is expected after the New Year.
