Red Advertising Acquires Jobmate

Red Advertising Ltd, the digital recruitment classified advertising specialists, today announces the acquisition of Jobmate and ARC Technologies, one of the UKs leading providers of online job advert distribution and response tracking solutions for the recruitment industry.

The acquisition provides Jobmate with access to Reds marketing and support services which will add to improved response times and improved customer support satisfaction levels. Red will also be investing into the core jobmate product technology to ensure that it remains cutting edge technology and ahead of its competitors.

Under the terms of the deal Jobmate will maintain its brand name and will remain as a separate business. Jobmate’s existing staff and technical integration consultants will also be retained to continue their good work within the jobmate business.

Since its launch in 2002, Jobmate has built relationships with some of the leading recruiters and employers in the UK. Its technology is integrated into a network of over 700 jobs boards and it provides the lowest cost, extremely effective multiple posting and applicant tracking technology available within the UK.

As the number two in the market, jobmate works that much harder with recruiters and jobs boards and delivers fast effective solutions for a fraction of the cost of its competitors.

Commenting on the deal, Richard Clarke, Director of Red Advertising said: "We are absolutely delighted to have had the opportunity to acquire the Jobmate business. Jobmate works with a good number of recruiters, yet there are still many out there that don’t know about Jobmate or indeed how exceptional and low cost the technology is. The challenge for us during 2010 and beyond is to ensure that recruiters that are either not aware of the advantages of Jobmate or are using the technology of our competitors which in many cases is not as good and often cost prohibitive, are at least made aware of what we have on offer.”

Jobmate is the third acquisition that Red Advertising has made in order to strengthen its online position within the digital recruitment classifieds sector.
